Rules and Regulations
Lane Heights Cemetery- Rose Township

• No planting trees, shrubbery, or plants of any kind.

• No stones, chips, etc. allowed.

• One pot or urn, and one flag holder allowed per grave. Must be moveable.

• All decorations must be in pot or urn. 

• No installing curbs or fencing of any kind. 

• Headstone must be flush and run with contour of the ground to facilitate mowing. Headstone must face walkway.

• All summer decorations must be removed by October 1 & All winter decorations must be removed by April 1.

• No more than two grave sites per family, resident, or non-resident. In situations such as the death of a minor child living at home, families will be allowed an additional grave site for the burial of the child. 

• No more than two cremation burials per grave site. 

• One headstone per grave site, with exception where one marker is a military marker. 

• Must have vault for all burials. 

• Lots are not to be resold. Township will purchase lots back at purchase price. 

• No trees will be removed for any burial. 

• Purchase prices per grave site.

                -Rose Township resident renters for 1 yr. or more...................................$75.00

                -Non-township residents without ownership of property in Rose                                       Township....................................................................................................................$500.00

• Rose Township Lane Heights Cemetery does not. have a perpetual care program, and therefore does not require an annual maintenance fee. As long as financially feasible, Rose Township will incur the cost of mowing grass and other general upkeep and improvements of the grounds. However, the direct responsibility of maintenance of grave sites is that of the owner or their families. With these rules and regulations your cemetery can be maintained economically and kept in the most beautiful manner.
